Islay has another new and attractive website. Today was the start of the new website for the Mactaggart Leisure Centre in Bowmore. The website offers a lot of information for locals and visitors alike. There is a section with opening hours and prices which will probably become one of the most visited pages on their site. The information is also available as PDF and will be updated when necessary. The next section is the facilities section where you can read what's on offer and it includes information about the pool, sauna, fitness studio, Tan Cab Vertical Sunbed, Laundrette, activity room and sports shop. In the section courses & Activities you can read everything about the various lessons and clubs that use the pool. Another interesting section is the about us section which gives an overview from the time the building was a warehouse from Bowmore distillery, about parents who demanded that their kids could get proper swimming lessons and the success story of the fundraising.
