View from Borichill Mor

There is a wee hill called Borrichill Mor halfway on the (yellow marked) road from Blackrock to Loch Gruinart. With only 91 metres Borichill Mor is more a bump in the landscape than a real hill, but at least it has a name and the remains of an ancient fort, which is more than some other hills can say. The views from this wee hill however over the central parts of Islay are beautiful as you can see from the images below, which I took in spring this year.
