If all goes as planned Manuela and I left this afternoon, Saturday 28 February, from Kennacraig for Port Askaig Islay to enjoy a week on our beloved island. The trip to Islay is always special, more special than the return trip, and last year I created a video of the ferry journey to Port Ellen Islay accompanied with music from the Sheena Swanson Quartet called "I cover the waterfront".
