In the last update about the Port Ellen Pier Reconstruction we could read that works are progressing well and are right on schedule and that is still the case as far as I know. On Saturday last week Mark Unsworth of Islay Studios took a picture of a huge crane which is used to assist with the pier reconstruction. It is said that the crane is the largest ever to work on Islay. A nice weekend to all!
