A little over two years ago a new Internet TV channel started, dedicated to whisky and nothing but whisky. The channel was called Singlemalt.tv, starting date was 29 September 2006 and the channel soon proved to be a success. Creative minds behind this channel are Charles MacLean, who is Scotland's foremost whisky writer and Rob Draper, who is one of the entertainment industry's most innovative Directors of Photography. To refresh your memory a wee quote from their website: "Singlemalt.tv will be a self-contained, membership-driven, internet tv channel devoted solely to the history, tradition, manufacture and enjoyment of single malt Scotch and aimed squarely at single malt fans from novice to the connoisseur. The goal is to provide an engaging, intelligent and fun channel catering to the specific tastes of the members. The focus will be the people and the characters behind the labels."

Recently the site received an update and new features were added such as a blog, the use of flash media and also Mac users can now enjoy this interesting channel. If you own an iPod or iPhone you can download podcasts from Bowmore Distillery, Bruichladdich - Yellow Submarine, the Ultimate Ardbeg Dinner, Islay in Winter and lots of others. All the more reason to visit the new Singlemalt TV channel now and have a look at all the updates and new videos. You won't be disappointed!
