Amazing how time flies... on Monday I had posted the blog about Mark Reynier leaving Bruichladdich and now it's Friday already and nothing else has been posted here this week. Truth is that I've been working really hard on several Islay and other projects including a revamp of my Scotland Info Site. It also feels like yesterday that I'd posted the announcement for Islay Sessions 2012, Islay's traditional music festival which will be held from Friday 16th to Sunday 18th November, that's in two weeks already! So here's a reminder for that fantastic music weekend on the island:

A wee programme for the Islay Sessions weekend:

• Live music sessions in Port Charlotte Hotel, Bridgend Hotel and Islay Hotel on Friday 16th November 9pm onwards
• Workshops for local musicians, young and old, on Saturday morning from 10am to 2pm. Register by email to info@islaysessions.co.uk
• Grand Concert and Ceilidh at Bruichladdich Hall on Saturday 17th November 7.30pm. Tickets are available from the Port Charlotte Hotel or by emailing info@islaysessions.co.uk
• Live music sessions in Port Charlotte Hotel, Bridgend Hotel and Islay Hotel on Sunday 18th November 12noon to 2.30pm
