Views from Persabus Islay by Jessica May Fletcher
Over the years we've spent quite some time at Persabus farm, in one of the excellent holiday cottages, and we've got to know the friendly and very hospitable Fletchers very well. It's always a great pleasure to arrive there for our holiday and in the meanwhile it feels like our second home, or should I perhaps say our first? Since the place almost does feel like our first home we've got to know the area quite well in almost every season and type of weather. One thing we hadn't experienced at Persabus so far was snow, that's why I was very pleased that Jessica May Fletcher sent me two images of Persabus, taken this winter, with a nice snow cover. Unfortunately the Paps of Jura were invisible due to the really low clouds but usually this is the view from Persabus to Jura.
The view towards the pottery (soon to be a tea-room - watch this space!) and "Persabus Hill"
The view towards Caol Ila, Port Askaig and Jura
