I don't know about you but when I read the word Orb I didn't have a clue what it was. I first saw the word Orb appear in the title of a video made at Kilchoman on Islay and when I watched it I still didn't have a clue, although I did vaguely see some moving light objects. A quick search on the web revealed that an Orb is an existing optical phenomenon which has both a logical explanation and a paranormal interpretation. Wikipedia gives the following rational definition: "The term orb describes unexpected, typically circular artifacts in photographs. Sometimes the artifact leaves a trail, indicating motion." The paranormal explanation reveals that: "Orb backscatter and especially its movement has been broadly interpreted as a highly variable range of paranormal phenomenon without verifiable causation, including invisible spirits, auras, angels, ghosts, energy fields, psychoenergetic artifacts, energy balls, etc." To be honest I like the paranormal explanation better and perhaps these orbs are ghosts living on Islay's westcoast or even angels that come to collect their share of whisky, who knows. I will leave you with the video to judge for yourself what it is that you are seeing here. I must admit that I have a logical explanation for the light effects but I will keep that for myself.
