Work is now underway to convert the The Old Excise House, Laphroaig into a Bed and Breakfast. It will be opening for business at the end of May 2010 and bookings are now being taken. There will be two luxury en-suite bedrooms, one king size double and one twin or super king. With a breakfast/sitting room, they will be self contained on the first floor of the house, to make the most of the views over the sea towards Port Ellen, Ireland and Laphroaig distillery. Prebooked home cooked evening meals, utilising local produce will be available for residents. Packed lunches, special dietary requirements, golf tuition breaks with Ron Goudie and island experiences can all be tailored to guests requirements. Contact Emma or Ron for further details.
