New Oban to Islay Air Service Started

Mark Unsworth from Islay Studios sent me an image of a new regular visitor of Islay Airport, the yellow plane from Hebridean Air Services. The new air service links Oban, Colonsay and Islay and means that passengers from Islay can make a day trip to Oban or Colonsay. The plane is also timed to allow passengers from Oban or Colonsay to connect with the morning flight to Glasgow from Islay. There is a return service late afternoon to meet up with the late Glasgow plane. A new car park has been constructed behind the Hebridean Air plane with a portakabin acting as a dry shelter/waiting room. For more information visit www.hebrideanair.co.uk.
