Last week when I posted the latest images of the new Islay Ferry MV Finlaggan I mentioned the upcoming sea trials planned for this week. Today was quite a historic moment, the new Islay Ferry went out to sea for the first time. Being out in the open water we can finally admire the impressive vessel without scaffolding, cranes, ropes etc. This is the first time we can see the undisturbed views of the new ferry. John Salton of CMAL apologised for the poor quality due to the bad weather but I think the images are great and there is good news, more images will follow soon! Enjoy!
