I've just returned from RSPB Loch Gruinart to check out the new bird hide. The old bird hide is still in use and is located close to the RSPB visitor centre. The new hide, and the old hide as well, can be reached from the woodland trail, the walk that starts opposite the parking place after 100 metres on the Ardnave road (see map). The new hide is located half a mile from the old hide and offers excellent possibilities to observe and photograph the wildlife at the reserve.
