Bruichladdich Masterclass at Finlaggan
The building of the extension to the Finlaggan Information Centre has been completed, and the winter will be spent by the committee and display co-ordinator in creating a new look layout for the exhibits and information panels. Although so much has been achieved, the need for fundraising is still ongoing, so we are delighted that James McEwan of Bruichladdich Distillery will be conducting a masterclass on 29th November, and providing a memorable evening of whisky tasting and a look back at his 45 years in the whisky industry, in aid of our funds. In addition there will be traditional music with singing by Libby and Janie, a raffle and an auction of a specially labelled bottle of Bruichladdich malt whisky. Finally the evening will conclude with a buffet supper.
The event will be held at Finlaggan and so give those attending the masterclass a preview of the new building well before the Official Opening which will be on Saturday 11th April 2009.
