It's funny in a way because last week i said that I wouldn't make a habit of putting weather forecasts here on my Islay Blog. The fact however is that the weather will become wintry and quite wild, especially towards the end of the week. This is due to extreme low temperatures high up in the Northern Atmosphere and relatively warm temperatures further south, these are the perfect conditions in which active low pressure areas are formed. On Tuesday the wind will become very strong again, Wednesday and Thursday morning will see some calmer weather and already forecasters are looking into Thursday and Friday when a potential 'Major Storm' can hit the UK.
