A friend on Islay sent me some awsome pictures of the recent snowfall on Islay and Jura. It's not that the lower parts on Islay were covered in snow but the higher parts, above 150 metres, received a nice cover creating cracking views of the mountains. And it becomes even better when the sun is out and the skies are dark blue, a treat for the eye! The picture below from the Paps of Jura is one of them.
