Islay Pictures from the Arctic Circle

As promised yesterday, today in total eight new beautiful pictures on the Islay Pictures Blog sent to me by Petter Rønningsen who is a member of the Polarsirkelen Whiskyklubb. Back in September I wrote about this most northerly whisky club of Europe, in the north of Norway in a town called Mo I Rana. Petter and his friends visited Islay last October and worked at the Kilchoman Distillery who were kind enough to gave them some time off to discover Islay!

The Islay Pictures Blog now holds pictures of seven people who are all credited on the thank you page. I look forward to seeing much more images from visitors and locals and make this an Islay image gallery by as many people as possible. Petter already mentioned that he would send some more pictures and hopefully others will do the same. For now I leave you with the images Petter sent me. There is one picture from a Portnahaven Sunset, another one from Portnahaven, there are four images of Machir Bay, a beautiful image from the Maltfloor at Kilchoman and a stunning image from the Lonely tree near Bunnahabhain close to the Sound of Islay. I would like to thank Petter and the others who submitted their pictures.
