The head of Loch Indaal between Uiskentuie and "The Spit" is a nice stretch of raised beach and excellent for a (beech) walk and beechcombing, just to park, walk the dog or to admire the beautiful scenery. The views are excellent and there is always wildlife to be seen on or near the shore such as oystercatchers, terns, ducks and waders. What better place is there to relax and watch the world go by. To give you an idea what you can see I have created a panorama which roughly shows the area from Uiskentuie and Black Rock to Bowmore and Gartbreck.
