The new Distillery Tour Times Leaflet for 2012 is available for download. The leaflet consists of two pages and provides information about the Jura and Islay Malt Whisky distilleries opening hours, the tour times, the tours, phone and fax numbers, email addresses and other important information. It is therefore essential to take a copy with you when you visit Islay and/or Jura. This leaflet is also available in the Tourist Information Office and other places on Islay.

This year sees another increase in the number of special tours. There are new very short tours, the Express Tour of 30 minutes (Ardbeg) and distillery Dash at Laphroaig of 15 minutes. There is also a new and extensive hike to the watersource at Laphroaig called the "Water to Whisky Experience" at a cost of £70 per person which lasts 4 hours, Ardbeg offers the same for half the price. There are also distilleries that offer "Tastings only". Something for everyone here, that much is clear. One word of advice though, book your tour in advance to prevent disappointment.
