Islay Ferry: One Vessel Timetable Due to Oban Accident

Today the Hebridean Isles was supposed to restart the Islay ferry service after she had replaced a ferry on the Western Isles service but something happened in Oban which prevented just that. Calmac wrote: "As the MV Isle of Mull was berthing in Oban yesterday (Saturday 18 Feb 2012), the weather deteriorated suddenly resulting in some damage being caused to the vessel. As a result of this incident the vessel is required to come out of Service. Due to this happening it has been necessary to deploy one of the vessels from the Islay Service to the Oban – Craignure route for a very short period." The MV Finlaggan will now run the Islay service from Sunday 19 Feb - Wednesday 22 Feb 2012 Incl, see details below:

Update: One vessel timetable extended until Saturday 25feb. Download the PDF timetable here
