Islay is famous for its whisky and because of that fact whisky is also used as an ingredient for other products such as soaps, chocolate, cheese and tablet. Today I found another use for whisky, which is in marmelade. In the video below you see Martine Nouet visiting Marion Mackinnon in her Port Charlotte kitchen to sample home made marmalade. Then she heads back to Nerabus to prepare a tantalizingly delicious meal with the marmalade, Ardbeg Still Young and local Islay Duck. It's the best of Slow Food.
