With Teresa Morris of Islay Wildscapes currently on Islay we have a more or less constant flow of fantastic images, in my opinion the best possible way to show how beautiful the island is. Yesterday I published Teresa's images of Stormy Saturday and today you get to see "Islay after the Storm". A beautiful series of colourful images from the landscape and arriving Geese near Loch Gruinart and Killinallan.

Teresa sent me the following lines: "Well what a day of changing light following Saturdays storm. Sunday dawned with some heavy rain showers which then cleared to give a beautiful blue sky with little wind and lots of warm sunshine. There didn't appear to be too many more geese arriving overnight at Loch Gruinart. During the day there have been occasional scattered showers interspersed with rainbows and sunshine. As the end of the day came to a close there was beautiful evening light cast across Loch Gruinart towards Killinallan and the Paps of Jura. Small groups of Barnacle geese were starting to fly in from the north on migration heading up to the Gruinart Flats, their journeys end! The moonrise over the Paps of Jura gave a magical end to the day casting a silver glow across the loch."
