In these financial difficult times it's good to know that Islay also has accommodation for those with a somewhat smaller budget. Besides the two excellent campsites and the possibility to bring your own campervan, you can now rent a beautiful caravan on the Rhinns of Islay at Nerabus. As far as I know this is the only one on Islay available to let. Perhaps an idea to have more of them in the near future?

Anyway, back to the caravan. Liz Hathaway sent me an email last week and included a PDF Brochure and pictures. The caravan is located at Firkin House, Nerabus, sleeps up to four people and is available to let for £250 per week. Other features are: Separate bedroom with king-sized bed, All linen included, Bathroom with shower, Kitchen/lounge area, DVD & CD players, Use of family garden and BBQ, Car parking, welcome pack on arrival and of course magnificent sea views of Loch Indaal, the Oa and Northern Ireland.
