The Islay Natural History Trust is delighted to be attending Islay’s second Festival of the Sea at Port Ellen this Saturday, 7th July. We shall be running an ‘Exploring Sandy Shores’ activity at around 1.30 pm when we shall go and explore the sandy bottom of the sea and search for hermit crabs, sea hares, shore crabs, shrimps and maybe more . . . There’ll be a chance to win an bottle of Ardbeg Whisky in our ‘Find the Otter’ draw, as well as Face Painting and various sea-related craft activities. There’s something for everyone, so come and visit our stall and remember your wellies!
