The weekend weather will be quite unsettled, especially Sunday will see high winds so the Islay ferry service will see some disruptions and/or diversions. Already the 0945hrs sailing from Kennacraig to Islay on Sunday the 15th of September will divert to Port Askaig. This means that the 1300hrs sailing from Islay to Kennacraig will depart from Port Askaig and NOT Port Ellen as timetabled.

The video below shows the weekend weather forecast by the Met Office who predict the first storm of the autumn will affect the UK on Sunday as a deep Atlantic low pressure system passes to the north of Scotland.
