Stuart Herd, originally from Amersham, but now resident in Tarbert, operates the Art Studio in Harbour Street, a space converted from a fisherman’s net store. His work consists of painstakingly draughted landscapes and he is also well known for his pen and ink drawings of football stadia. Stuart’s work is currently on show and on sale at Outback Gallery, Sanaigmore, and includes a series of paintings of Islay villages and landscapes.
