Great news for all those who weren't able to watch the stunning "Hebrides - Islands on the Edge" series which featured so much brilliant wildlife and scenery footage of Islay and the neighbouring islands. And of course great news for those who want to watch again, and again! Hebrides - Islands on the Edge was broadcasted earlier this year on BBC Scotland and later UK wide on BBC2. VisitScotland announced a few days ago details of a major marketing push to coincide with the conclusion of the popular nature documentary Hebrides: Islands on the Edge and the launch of the DVD. The new Â£50,000 campaign will specifically promote the Inner and Outer Hebrides in the run-up to autumn, targeting hundreds of thousands of potential visitors through national newspaper titles and radio across Scotland and the North of England.
