The evening of the 3rd of September saw an online tasting at the Bruichladdich Distillery on Islay titled LaddieMP2, where MP stands for Micro Provenance and the number 2 for the second event in this category. The Micro Provenance tastings are part of Bruichladdich's ongoing exploration of individual cask evolution. The event was broadcasted live from the distillery with Head Distiller Adam Hannett in which he discussed three latest single cask Micro Provenance bottlings together with a wee audience in the shop and an online audience. We have joined the live event and were given the three bottles to join the tasting. It was a very interesting evening, which started a wee bit later than planned, they are also on Islay Time! For us it was a great way to explore the whiskies and most of all a way to get to know Adam Hannah, who follows in Jim McEwan's footsteps, a bit better.
