I just picked up an interesting message from Takeshi's Blog about a new webcam at Bowmore Distillery. Very well spotted Takeshi, thanks! I had a look myself and much to my surprise I found out that this is a really good webcam which can be remote controlled by the website visitor, being you! The webcam shows different areas of the distillery, the Courtyard, Visitor Balcony, Loch Indaal and the entrance to the visitor centre in live streaming mode and as images. This is another great addition to the present webcams on Islay. There are now over twenty webcams active on the island and I'm still waiting for that special one.... A live camera view from Caol Ila or Bunnahabhain over the Sound of Islay to the Paps of Jura.
