The Awards Evening was compered by Comedian Craig Hill who commented that the Whisky bar Of The Year was very keenly contested and that the judges said of the winner: “This is an excellent whisky bar, with a huge range of whiskies. Both the owner and his son are whisky enthusiasts and they are happy to share their knowledge at the bar and substantial it is too. Excellent service, an opportunity to try before you buy and an enthusiasm for whisky, which is infectious, made this bar stand out. “
David and Ewan Graham were naturally delighted to be the Winners of this prestigious award and would like to thank customers and guests for their support over the years and for voting for the Bar in the competition; they are also delighted to win the award for Ballygrant and for Islay and hope that this will encourage more visitors and tourists to journey to Islay and enjoy the hospitality and the delights that Islay has to offer.
